1. Halle Berry - the multicultural sex symbol of her generation. To her credit, she hasn't rested on her, um, assets--she's now a legitimate top flight film actress as well.
2. Angelina Jolie - actress, mother, humanitarian, pilot, companion of Brad Pitt, freak. A modern day Renaissance woman.
3. Jessica Alba - if only she could act she'd be my number one pick. I know there are guys out there that don't care, but belive me, it matters.
4. Kate Winslet - the total package: sexy, great actress, good sense of humor and a healthy perspective on the whole acting game.
5. Jennifer Lopez - after she has her twins, she needs to go back to acting and stop making mediocre pop albums. She's still got her looks and her presence though.
6. Sharon Stone - America's favorite MENSA member looks as good at 50 as she did at 30. She'll never be a charmer on screen--her strength is playing steely, somewhat villainous femme fatales--but she's always welcome on the big screen.
7. Diane Lane - Seems to get sexier as she gets older and always projects intelligence and toughness in all her roles.
Honorable mentions: Susan Sarandon. Eva Mendes, Katherine Heigl (KNOCKED UP proved that she'll have no trouble transitioning to the big screen), Meagan Good.
In fairness to the ladies out there (especially Tracy), my next blog will list my choices for the five sexiest men in the movies. (Why not seven? Because I'm a guy, that's why?)
I'm pretty sure that this is not what I said I was going to blog about last time I posted, but I'm sure I'll get around to whatever that was eventually. Dr. Z says he won't be submitting any Top Ten lists in honor of the writer's strike (he was joking, I think), but you've got to support the writers on this one because writers in Hollywood always get hosed and the producers in this case are just being their typical greedy selves. It might not seem like it matters much now, but look for the TV schedule to be littered with reruns and lame reality shows very soon. Then negotiations might get interesting.
Until next time, Peace...
