MAN MEAT

First of all before I come at ya' with my promised list of the Five Sexiest Men on the Big Screen, I want to thank my wife Tracy (who I should probably thank for something in every blog) for finding out that there was such a thing as mango wine and that one could even make it at home--if they have a degree in chemistry and unlimited access to certain exotic enzymes and yeasts. It could also be ordered online apparently, for a very high price, but I'm not that curious so I'm going to let it lie. That was what your junior high English teacher would call a preamble (or perhaps a non-sequitor?), so now, The List:

1. George Clooney - the sexiest thing about Clooney is his intelligence and the passion he has for both his movies and the political causes he believes in (Darfur anyone?). Of course, the five o'clock shadow and a pranksters wit don't hurt either. My God, I sound gay. Gay for Clooney.

2. Brad Pitt - age has helped Pitt look more like a good looking man instead of the factory-perfect robohunk he sometimes appeared to be when he burst on the scene in THELMA & LOUISE. He's an underrated actor too--check out his performances in LEGENDS OF THE FALL, FIGHT CLUB and 12 MONKEYS if you don't believe me.

3. Morris Chestnut - he may not be the biggest name, but I am always amazed by the number of women I have talked to over the years who have a thing for Chestnut, who is probably best known for ensemble roles in THE BEST MAN and DO THE RIGHT THING. I don't necessarily see it (he does seem to do something with his eyes that's kind of sexy) but I figure the ladies can't be wrong.

4. Viggo Mortensen - pretty obvious, I think. The abs of a Greek god, with a chiseled face and dimpled chin. Also a solid actor (see A HISTORY OF VIOLENCE and the Lord of the Ring movies). Plus, he paints. Some guys have all the luck.

5. Daniel Craig - the latest Bond is the best actor of the bunch (save for Sean Connery) and the best looking hands down. In my humble opinion that is.

I feel kind of grody doing this, but hey, fair is fair and I like to think that I'm not sexist. In touch with my feminine side and all that. So I hope you enjoyed my list.

It's dinner time! Gotta go...until I blog again, Peace!
