POBODY'S NERFECT II- A Mea Culpa

Here's to blogposter "S.S." who pointed out that a statement in one of my earlier posts (see DOWNLOAD THIS) where I said that the rapper Common is the son of Gil Scott-Heron, the legendary jazz spoken-word artist and hip-hop pioneer is not true. Common is not his son...and a simple Wikipedia search confirmed this. I had based my statement on an interview Common gave where he apparently said that Gil Scott-Heron was LIKE his HIP-HOP father, but I missed the simile. Heron has appeared on several Common songs and has referred to Common as "his son" and I made a bad connection. I'm man enough to admit when I've made a mistake and the blog where I made this statement will be corrected. Good catch!

Also, I've found the picture from the window of the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs and have posted it here, because I, and many other people, like pretty pictures. Next time I post on this blog, it will look different--let me know what you think of the new look.

Peace...
